The USG Member Organizations
Listed below are the various member organizations and clubs that USG sponsors, either by providing dedicated funding in the form of an annual budget or by officially recognizing groups and offering the opportunity for funding.
Groups on this list with underlined names will link to a separate page with more information on that organization's activities.
Funded groups are divided into several categories. Social Activities Organizations sponsor events of interest to the general student body, even if the membership of the organization is focused on a specific group of students. Media Organizations offer students publication or broadcast venues in the campus community. Academic Clubs each focus on a specific discipline and have programs aimed at students in particular majors. Club Sports give student athletes a chance to compete on an intercollegiate level in sports where the college does not field an official intercollegiate team.
While all funded groups are recognized by USG there are additional Recognized Organizations which do not have set budgets but are eligible to join the standard USG bugeting process once they have maintained their recognized status for the time required in the USG Constitution.
