Meetings
The Senate meets every Tuesday night during the Fall and Spring semesters at 8:45pm in Bulger Communication Center West or one of several alternate sites (check the calendar page or call the USG Office for the next meeting's location). Any student or faculty member is welcome to attend as observers - interruptions of the meeting for comments or questions are not allowed. Visitors are allowed to speak if recognized by a Senator or Vice President. If you wish to address the Senate the best policy is to contact a Senator or officer before the meeting and have your name and topic added to the agenda.

Meeting Minutes
Minutes of meetings are posted on-line once they are approved by the USG President.

Becoming A Senator
Elections are held every year in the spring with senators elected to serve from June 1 to May 31. Vacancies usually occur during the legislative session. The students chosen to fill these vacancies are taken from among those who have filled out an application in the USG offices. All matriculated undergraduate students with a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher are eligible to serve.

There are frequently vacancies on the USG Senate, and openings for Students at Large. If you are interested please visit the USG Office for an application.
