I.      Call to Order

II.     Corrections to the Minutes

A.      Approval of Minutes

B.      Approval of Agenda
- President Levin-Stankevich adds Lt. Carey.  I would like to strike AVP Blake's report and Rules Chair Crowley's report.

 

        EVP Norman motions to suspend the rules to have Old Business go after Lt. Carey.  Vote is taken in reverse order and passes 0 abstentions, 1 nay.

 

III.    President Levin-Stankevich Report:

A.      I would like to recognize Lt. Carey to give us an update.  Lt. Carey thanks everyone for another semester.  I would like to remind everyone to keep an eye on your back packs.  This time of year there is always a high risk of theft. 

 

At this time we have suspended the rules and we will go into Old Business.  Student at Large Curtis gives an update on Commencement.

 

B.      Record Article -in the first issue of the Record next semester USG is going to have four pages.  The article will be titled "What is USG doing for you?" Included in this we will have a calendar of events that are going on.

 

IV.     EVP Norman Report:

A.      Corporate Meeting Wrap up - we had a good turn out. 

B.      Senator of the month is Andy Turton. 

C.      I would like to wish everyone good luck on your exams.

 

V.      Treasurer Myers Report:

A. Budget Committee Report - if you come to the office you can pick up the budget report on what the Budget Committee approved this semester.

C.      I would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday.

 

VI.     Standing Committee Reports

A.      AVP LaFontaine Community Relations Report:
- I would like to say thanks to my committee.
- Everyone have a good break.

B.      AVP Buckley Sports & Recreation Report:
- S.W.O.T. Analysis - I will pass this sheet out that will ask you to evaluate us in strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. 

C.      AVP Clarke Student Life Report:
- I would like to thank everyone who came to the USG events.
- I would like to meet with my committee tomorrow.

D.      Senator Pro Tem Groover Report:
- Food Service Committee will be meeting this Thursday at 6:00 pm in room 412.

 

VII.    New Business - None

 

VIII.   Constituents Questions/Announcements

A.      EVP Norman thanks everyone for all their hard work.

B.      Treasurer Myers announces PASO and AASO are having a program tomorrow called "Why Do Men Cry".

C.      Amy reminds everyone that Bills points are due tomorrow by 5:00 pm.

D.      Ann from NYPIRG states that if you want to go to Lobby Day stop by my office.
