The NFTA Transit Pass
The Niagara Frontier Transit Authority runs the public transit system in Western New York. The system includes buses, the Buffalo subway train, and some special vehicles. NFTA also runs Circulator buses that ring the campus on an hourly basis and also make off-campus trips to Tops and Wegman"s stores nearby several times a day.
A portion of the money collected as the student activity fee (currently $25.00 per-semester) goes directly to the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority for the Student Bus Pass. This pass is issued to each student and allows them unlimited use of the Buffalo-Niagara transit system (including the campus circulators) during the semester the pass is valid.
