Q: I'm getting errors about the test root not being trusted when I use the Log In(SSH) link on your site.
A: Please install the newest version of Sun Java, you can locate it here, http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

Q: How do I change my password?
A: Once you are logged in, ( you will see something similar to [username@ipa username]$ ) type the command passwd (all lowercase). It will ask you to enter your current password, then to type the new password, and then confirm. While you are typing these passwords you will not see any characters apearing on screen, not even stars.

Q: What is my email address/web address?
A: Your email would be username@ipa.buffalostate.edu. Your web address would be http://ipa.buffalostate.edu/~username

Q: How much space do I get on the server?
A: You get a generous 30MB web space to house your online presence. More can be requested if necessary. Please provide a good explanation of why you need more and we will be happy to help you.

Q: What is the individual file size limit?
A: All individual files cannot exceed 3MB (3,072 KB).

Q: What type of sites are allowed?
A: Personal, academic, and non-profit web sites. You are not allowed to have commercial (profit) sites on any educational server.

Q: What is the policy on copyrighted materials?
A: You may host it on this server, as long as it is YOUR property or if owner gives you explicit permission in writing.
