About the Hosted Sites page
This page was created to promote and list the accounts hosted by IPA to be accessable by the general student body.
How It Works
Periodically, a sweep is made of all accounts on the IPA server to see which ones are hosting websites. Data is retrieved by attempting to "browse" to the appropriate URL.
If your website is properly setup, and you have a valid HTML page and <title> tag, you will be picked up by this sweep.
My page isn't listed here!/I don't want my page to be listed here!
If your page is not listed, it is probably because it is setup wrong, or doesn't have a valid title.
If you would like your page to be de-listed, this can also be done.
To address both of these issues, send an e-mail to ipa AT ipa.buffalostate.edu, with "Hosted Sites Page" in the subject, and your request.
We will do our best to process them in a timely fashion.
My page is listed under the wrong category!
See above, and send us an email with your request. We will move your webpage to the correct category.
I didn't know I had a website!
Perhaps the website is fradulant, but this is not likely. Several organizations have
websites on the IPA server and do not realize it! Contact us, as above, for more information on how to restore access to your web page.
