IPA Account Creation Tutorial

1) At the top right of the forums click the link that says 'register'.

2) Click that link will take you to the above page. When you get here, in the box next to the "Choose username" prompt, type in the username you wish to use for the message board.

3) Next type in your E-mail address and then, type in a password that you wish to use. Remember to write it down along with your username so you do not forget.

4) After you type in the password you wish to use, enter in the letters in the picture seen just above the Visual Verification text box.

5) After you are done entering in your information, read over the User Policy.

6) When you are done reading and Understand what is expected of you, Click the U Agree box and then click the Register button. You will soon get an activation E-mail telling the account is setup now you just need to activate it.

7) Check you E-mail for the activation message for the account. Click on the activation link in the E-mail.

8) You will receive an E-mail that your account has been activated, and you can now post in the Forums.

9) Go back to ipa.buffalostate.edu.

10) To the left, you will see a box labeled Navigation. Click the link labeled Message Board. Feel free to look around, make threads, ask questions, and paricipate in discussion.
