Students Involved in the Art of Metalsmithing
The purpose of SIAM is to make the Buffalo State and Western New York communities aware of the Buffalo State metals program, and to create opportunities for students interested in metal by:
• Creating club-sponsored shows and exhibitions for metal design students.
• Exposing students to guest speakers in the metalsmithing field.
• Creating a community of support and friendly competition within the Design Department.
• Gaining recognition for the work done in the Buffalo State metals department.
• Helping students participate in resume-building activities.
